Announcement    In 1990 I was diagnosed as Bipolar from a chemical imbalance. I am also a recovering drug addict, and in 1987 upon discharge I was told to get a new hobby. For some reason they did not consider taking drugs a good hobby, (that's a joke)! So I bought a sewing machine and there the story starts. I grew up in Pennsylvania, but when I was 25 I moved in Arizona which I have always thought was my destiny. I live with a 4-year-old pit bull rescue, Neiman, who I have had for 6 months, Neiman. Poor baby had a bite history (not disclosed) and came with baggage. He may never like people in his home, but he loves his mom and is slowly learning he is safe with a furever home. With my mental illness Neiman is my service animal. I have to get up to feed him, and leave the house to walk him and hug and kiss him. I also bake his dog biscuits. That is the definition of a service animal; his job is to help me survive day to day.

I got my first sewing machine in 1962 from Santa. I made clothes for my baby dolls and purses from jeans. In 1970 I sold the purses to my classmates. I began art school in 1975 and had my first breakdown, and withdrew. But in 1980 I studied at Philadelphia College of Textiles and Science learning: wood block and linoleum printing, photography and dark room developing. For fabrics I learned tie-dye, batik and silk screening. My story begins. I had always wanted to learn to quilt, so I took classes and also wanted to learn to sew clothes for my daughter. Clothes sewing were a bust for me Eventually I made so many quilts my friends had to tell me to stop. I then learned about Etsy and joined in 2009. Things have evolved to the extent it is hard to be found among millions of craft sellers, competing with antique sellers and craft suppliers. I like to hope that sellers will remain prominent.

I have sold hundreds of items on Etsy; lap quilts, baby quilts, wall hangings, Christmas stockings, potholders, table runners, placemats, napkins, drink coasters, dog collars, dog food placemats, dog crate pads, bandanas, makeup remover pads, handkerchiefs cleaning wipes. I made a few things with flannel and loved the feel of it against my skin. It is also a favorite because it gets softer with each wash and dry, it dries quickly, of course eliminates the use of paper products and expands the “reduce, reuse, recycle” cycle to save Mother Earth. I am selling, unpaper towels, baby wipes, napkins, hankies, washcloths and makeup remover pads. I love what I do and am happy to help you take a bite out of paper use and abuse of our planet. Do you feel the same way? If you purchase from me, you can return unused purchases, paying your own shipping. You will be refunded the cost of your purchase, minus the shipping postage. I apologize but custom orders may not be returned.

I hope you enjoyed reading my life story, and will be assured your purchases will exceed your expectations.
